As an emergency physician, I noticed that 85% of the people who came in the emergency department were there because of either ignorance or poor choices. I can’t help the people who make poor choices, but I can help people who don’t know, so I started a clinic where I teach people how to be healthy. In 2011, I went to my first regenerative medicine seminar and learned about stem cell therapy.

I followed that technology for several years, went to several other seminars, and eventually in 2017 started doing regenerative therapy in my clinic. We retrieve our mesenchymal stem cells from umbilical cord blood and placental tissue. Women who have C-sections join our network, they keep the baby we get the placenta the umbilical cord and that’s where our Stem cells are sourced. I’ve seen miracles with stem cell therapy. I’ve seen people who couldn’t play tennis any longer playing tennis again.

I’ve seen people with severe back pain whose pain is gone. With our anti-aging stem cell therapy, we can give intravenous injections of stem cells that can literally turn people around from ill health to good health. Anna Tarabrina, N.D.

Dr. Anna Tarabrina is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University in 2013. While getting her Bachelor’s degree, she did a year-long internship through the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Stem Cell Research Program and participated in the neuronal “maps” modeling of the olfactory system in the Gage Laboratory of Genetics at the Salk Institute in La Jolla.

Her research findings were published in the Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Tarabrina received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in San Diego, CA in 2017.

Dr. Tarabrina believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal. Dr. Tarabrina concentrates on the elimination of the symptoms by addressing the underlying causes of a problem and incorporates diagnostic laboratory testing, physical exams, and advanced comprehensive evaluations to thoroughly assess patients’ health and develop a personalized treatment plan. Her primary focus is the treatment and prevention of chronic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders (IBS, GERD), and hormonal imbalances.

Dr. Tarabrina incorporates nutritional supplementation, bio-identical hormone replacement, botanical medicine, injectable micronutrient therapy, detoxification, natural weight loss, lifestyle and diet counseling into her practice.

Jennifer Goldstone

Here at Coastal Colon Hydrotherapy (Jennifer Goldstone), located in the beautiful village of Del Mar, California, we take this to heart and it is our mission to not only heal but also to act as a preventative measure and to provide our clients with the knowledge and tools necessary for them to maintain their digestive health in their day-to-day lives.

Colon hydrotherapy involves the gradual infusion of purified warm water to the colon. The body proceeds to naturally release the infused water along with any waste that comes along with it. This helps soften and remove old fecal matter, gas, and mucous that has been accumulating in the large colon over time. At Coastal Colon Hydrotherapy, we use a state-of-the-art FDA registered closed device which uses a three-stage UV filter and temperature-controlled water.

Jennifer is an I-ACT certified colon cleansing associate. A native to San Diego, she began her career in healthcare over 20 years ago. Jennifer found herself drawn to complementary healthcare while on her own healing journey. Watching her own transformation inspired her to gain a deeper level of expertise so that she could share her knowledge with others. She received her certification at Gentle Wellness Center in Santa Monica, a clinic well known for its popularity amongst celebrities and famous athletes. These are important credentials for ANY client looking for colonics, as the state of California does not regulate the practice of colon hydrotherapy. Unfortunately, many colonic centers in California are operated by individuals who have no formal training on the human body or its detoxification pathways.

All sessions are customized to the client as each colon requires individualized care. Jennifer incorporates other modalities that assist in enhancing colon hydrotherapy treatments, such as aromatherapy, reflexology and electro-lymphatic drainage.

Sandi Star, HHP, CNC.

Sandi graduated from The Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, CA., with the following Certifications: Holistic Health Practitioner, Clinical Nutrition, Clinical Master Herbology, Aromatherapy and has a Bachelors in Communications. Sandi is a proud member of the American Holistic Healthcare Association.

Sandi specializes in functional nutrition and wellness with a focus on addressing the underlying triggers and root cause of chronic health conditions. Sandi’s primary focus is treating and preventing disease and dependency on pharmaceuticals. Sandi incorporates functional medicine, lifestyle and nutrition counseling.

Sandi is the author of Beyond Gluten – A Healing Transition and has written articles for several online publications.

Sandi lost 6 dress sizes and has kept it off for over 25 years and has overcome chronic health conditions including an autoimmune condition called Sjogren Syndrome.

Sandi has hands on understanding of many health issues and is dedicated in creating awareness that will impact our nations focus on disease prevention.

Isabel Lee, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Isabel is a San Diego native who graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences degree at the University of Toledo Physician Assistant program in 2022. Isabel is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and began working at Del Mar Integrative Medicine and Med Spa in 2023. Isabel is eager to provide the best care for her patients and make a positive impact on their health.

When Isabel is not in the office, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her family and friends, and immersing herself in a good novel.
